With colours selected to compliment the adjacent waterfall fixture, this backyard studio was designed to act as a gardening workspace while doubling as winter storage. The double glass doors open up the backyard so that users can freely grab tools as they tend to their garden while having a sheltered workspace for outdoor crafting.
The roof features clerestory windows to allow light to penetrate deeper into the studio, while also collecting and storing rainwater to provide a free and environmentally friendly method of watering plants. The soffit material, black doors and charcoal shingles were chosen to match the property’s main house.
